Spring Break - part II - Happy Birthday Papa!
We celebrated my Dad's birthday on March 16th. We had breakfast at Liberty Market, played at the splash pad (Papa didn't run in the water....) and then we had pizza for dinner at our house.
The babies also made Papa a very special birthday cake! They worked very hard at decorating it!!
Spring Break - part I
We had many adventures during our two week spring break, but I haven't finished uploading all of the pictures so we will have several posts. :)
The first week of Spring Break started off with a trip to the Ostrich Festival in Chandler. This was the first time any of us had been there in many many years. Peyton was very excited because Brady told her there was a petting zoo!
My mom first insisted on getting her picture taken with the sea lions....
Then she demanded to ride the camel....
We had purchased an "all-day" ride pass so Josh took Peyton over to the toddler train. They waited in line for quite a while just for the guy to tell Josh he could ride the train, but Peyton could not because she didn't have a wrist band. Josh tried to explain that she was under 2 and that was silly, but the guy was very unfriendly and told us "no bracelet, no ride". Peyton CRIED!!!!! I felt really bad for her. :( Thankfully we headed over to the petting zoo next (which was free!) where Peyton spent much of the afternoon petting the goats and trying to kiss them.
