McCormick Train Park
Lisa and I packed up the babies on Thursday and headed to Great-Grandma's house.
First we visited the McCormick Train Park to ride the train & the merry-go-round. The last time we road the train it was the day the huge storm came through Phoenix with hail, high winds, and lots and lots of rain! We were happy to see blue skies this trip.
After the train park we went to PF Changs for lunch, then Sprinkles for dessert.

More Spring Break
During my 2nd week of Spring Break, Josh took a few days off. On Wednesday we headed out to the World Wildlife Zoo. We might as well have driven to California... it's far... really far... but for a "once-a-year" experience it was totally worth it. Admission prices were hefty, but seeing all of the animals up close was so much fun. Peyton had a great time... until lunch time... when she saw the playground and refused to eat... or walk... or sit in the stroller... so I was totally "that mom" that let her kid kick and scream on the dirt ground until she stopped crying. Yep, people just kept walking by thinking "that lady should really learn to control her kid"! And I'd just smile or make some remark about "it's nap time". We didn't even make it to the aquarium, penguins, or white alligator. I was bummed, but I refused to drag a screaming child through with it with me... it wouldn't have been fair to everyone else who was actually enjoying their trip! Anyway, here are some fun pictures. We really loved feeding the giraffes and Josh saw his beloved white tiger. I'm pretty sure he took 100 pictures. Thank goodness for digital cameras and no film!! phew!
