For Christmas, LaVonne got me a gift card to JoAnn's fabrics so that I could take a quilting class- she knew that I wanted to eventually make a t-shirt quilt, so it was the perfect gift.
Tanya, LaVonne, and I went to the class today- it was a bit different than we thought, but we got some of the basics. I decided to start small and make a hand quilt for Peyton from a onsie that I had made for her. (The puppy was airbrushed on).
Here is the front of the quilt- now I just have to figure out what to do with the back! Need to find some more cute fabric that will be a nice accent, add some batting, and then let Peyton enjoy it!
Needless to say it is not perfect... and I had to rip out several seams due to miscalculations and human-error! But I hope that she enjoys the quilt and it able to carry it around with her.... and she can say "my mommy made it for me!" :)

Very cute. I'll have you make B. a quilt with his airbrushed puppy shirt and then they can have sort of matching blankies! :)
