Diaper Bag

My diaper bag finally arrived- yeah! I love the fabrics (helps that I picked them out!) and the changing pad & burp rags are super soft. I have some "essentials" in the diaper bag for the hospital. It would be fun to count how many times I unpack and repack her diaper bag. :)

Baby Shower #1

My coworkers had a wonderful baby shower for me two weeks ago. Tamara and Kristin did a beautiful job! I only have a couple pictures since my camera batteries died 1/2 way through, but Kristin is getting me the rest of the pictures. Enjoy!

36 Weeks

Ok, so these were taken when I was 35 weeks and 6 days.... but that is close enough, right??
I am now going to the doctor every week- oh the joys! Luckily I haven't had a problem working around my school schedule.

I still can't get over the comments that people make when they see my belly. Most people say how great I look and how little my belly is... (whether they believe it or not doesn't bother me, but the fact that they TELL me my belly is little is all that really matters!)... then there are the others that insist on telling me how HUGE I am and how they can't imagine me going another 3 or 4 weeks. Seriously, why would you tell a pregnant lady how big her belly is? Do they think that she doesn't look in the mirror on a daily basis? or that she hasn't attempted to see her feet, but hasn't been able to in several weeks?
Some people need to learn tact...
Ok, enough venting....

Easter 2009

Josh and I were able to spend Easter Sunday with my family this year. We went to Grandma's house and had lunch with my Grandma, my parents, my sister & brother-in-law, Brady, Uncle Tom, and Tammie. Phew!
Lunch was wonderful and afterwards we celebrated Grandma's 86th Birthday. Lisa made a very yummy cake... thankfully she made a large cake and I was allowed to take some home... yum!

33 Weeks... and Lori's belly grows!

We are now 33 weeks and 2 days pregnant.... oh my! Only a little over 6 weeks left... that is a bit scary... exciting too... but scary. Nothing new or exciting to report right now. I have a doctor's appointment on Monday- hopefully she will have some advice for me and my itchy belly. I have been scratching it so much that I have made it bleed... whoops. I don't even know how to describe the pain/itchy feeling... all I can say is that it is not pleasant. Enjoy the pictures!!

Of course Josh eggs Duke on by inviting him to jump... then Duke gets in trouble for jumping on me. The poor puppy must be so confused! And then there is Dutchess....
